On February 18, 2025, Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) delivered an electrifying performance at The Rex Rooms in Chelsea, London. This venue, which has replaced the iconic Club 151 at 151 King's Road, has been reimagined to offer a fresh and immersive nightlife experience.
The Rex Rooms, designed by fashion designer and nightlife innovator Marc Jacques Burton, features a surrealist-inspired interior with melting mirror frames and hand-carved wooden walls, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. The venue is divided into two distinct areas: a speakeasy lounge and the exclusive "King's 1942 Room," where privacy is paramount, and the use of phones and selfies is discouraged to maintain an intimate ambiance.
During the private after-party, MGK not only performed some of his popular tracks but also teased new music, hinting at an upcoming album release later this year.
The Rex Rooms officially opened its doors in March 2025, quickly establishing itself as a premier destination in Chelsea's nightlife scene.
