Increase awareness via the media with exposure pre and post-launch

The Lifestyle Agency was appointed to launch London’s innovative boxing studio, Bermondsey Boxing Club, part of the highly reputable The Boxing House Group. TLA provided a PR & Influencer campaign to launch the club and increase awareness via the media with exposure pre and post-launch.

Bermondsey Boxing Club’s mission is to create a community, from first-time fighters to professionals, that have a love and respect for boxing, empowering members to build confidence, one punch at a time. TLA positioned the club as the most innovative boxing club with world-renowned, ‘proper’ boxing coaches, currently on the market. Steve Broughton, a pro trainer at the club has coached the current European and Commonwealth title holder, as well as a former British champion. And Joe Joyce, the future heavyweight champion and George Groves, the British boxer who held the WBA super-middleweight title are among the professional boxers who train at the club.

The dedicated lifestyle team promoted all aspects of the club – the 1:1 personal training, the White Collar boxing events and the group classes, as well as promoting the founder, Manya Klempner, an ex-banker who turned her corporate career on its head to launch The Boxing House. TLA targeted top-tier media to introduce them to Bermondsey Boxing Club and delivered on securing outstanding press coverage landing in Vanity Fair, BBC World News, Financial Times, Men’s Health, GQ, Country & Townhouse, Spear’s and Metro, amongst others.
