Albert's hosts Balenciaga V&A exhibition after party
Their first ever UK exhibition, Balenciaga showcased iconic pieces from the 1950-60s at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum. Private members' club Albert's, in South Kensington, was proud to host the fashion label's luxurious after party.
In luxury French fashion house Balenciaga's latest installation, Balenciaga: Shaping Fashion, Spanish couturier Cristóbal Balenciaga's work was examined in room 40 of the V&A which was transformed for the exhibition that opened to the public on the 27th of May.
Albert’s, in the heart of South Kensington, strives to offer moments of absolute opulence inspired by its namesake Prince Albert. Combining exquisite fashion and exclusive surroundings, the pairing of Balenciaga and Albert’s made for a spectacular evening following the museum showcase.
The collection of luxury garments and hats has been curated into the stunning exhibition at the V&A to celebrate Balenciaga's several decades of success in the industry. A new addition to the Old Brompton Road, with many a nod to the traditions of London's past, Albert’s provided the perfect space to combine contemporary art and indulgence in a night dedicated to lavish lifestyles.
